I'm back from Lienz and I'm kind of mad again! Especially for the slalom race.. too slow another time.
It's hard to understand the reason why I can't go as fast as I can do.
This year I was sure about how I skied in slalom and now I'm so close to go out of the top 30. That's suck!
And I didn't expect nothing from the GS and I did two times the best time in a run (correctly just one.. in Aspen I was second... for a cent...).
Ski it's weird sport!
Anyway I think I skied pretty good in the second run in GS and that's make me happy for half.
Now I'm at home in Rovereto with Davide waiting for 2012 together and trying to make a good sushi. Lovely!
I'll try again to ski fast in Zagreb .. maybe the new year brings me some good advice.
Everytime I have a new chance to get closer to my dreams. It would be silly to waste it.
Lienz 2011 signed the end of the carreer of an amazing athlete and a great person: Sarah Schleper has finished her life as a World Cup skier after the slalom race. I think she was an inspiration for many of us and I wish to her and her family all the best and for sure I will miss the roooaaarr of the lion on the slopes!
Now it's time to go and check the rice and cut some fish..
See you on 2012!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
All the best to everybody.
